Hi!

After using a different site between Flagstaff and Williams AZ for several past Field Days, I moved to a Forest Service picnic area next to Cataract Lake in Williams AZ. Lots of trees and clouds helped deal with the temperatures that were around 90F in the area. Not many HF QSOs due to crummy propagation, and some satellite QSOs using SO-50 and the ISS packet digipeater. Even though I had to return home early, it was still fun to get away from the desert and play radio for a few hours.
