Good weather in my part of the world, hope all other stations had good conditions.

I started on 20 meter phone, greatly dissappointed, background noise was S7 or more, really wears on the ears. When I switched to 40 meters later on, what a difference, background noise was S1!. 40 was the go-to-band, CW signals were awesome. Made more QSO's on 40 than 20m's, which I thought would be the better band to use. Tnx for all stns for being there, 73, Dale.

Equipment used: FT-857D, base loaded 8 ft whip on Dodge Journey, with 80ft wire clipped on to the whip, and Honda eu2000i generator.
