Solar powered, QRP, dipole antennas, and solo. I guess I like making life difficult for myself, lol. This was only my third time operating in Field Day, and my first time going solo. I was getting lost in the noise trying to make voice contacts with 5 watts, so I took the plunge and tried operating digital from the field.

Wow! Ended up making all but two or three of my contacts with psk31, and was even able to copy the FD message. Using N1MM integrated with FLdigi was a really cool experience, and great emergency communications practice.
