2017 ARRL Field Day
I discovered that 80 meters at night is awesome for making lot's of contacts.
Had I known that sooner, I would have went to the battery bank and just kept operating after 4:00 UTC. The only reason I shut down my station was because I was worried that I was disturbing the neighbors with my incessant calling of CQ and answering the callers as fast as I could log them.
I also discovered a 6 meter band opening on Saturday, but my meager power level and antenna kept me from staying on 6 meters longer.
It was probably the best Field Days I worked in the past 7 years!
