What a tough year for scoring. The signals were at or in the noise level for me. Using three different antennas, a vertical, and extended doulbe zepp and an 80 meter loop. The loop proved to be the best receiving antenna with the lowest noise level however obtaining contacts was next to impossible! My good friend and accomplished contester, W4MYA, also using wire antennas aeared to have good success as his ears and location were better than mine! If the senate ever passes the antenna bill, maye I'll have some aluminum up in the air for the next contest. While I didn't hardly dent the paer with scoring contacts, I am already thinking of next year!
