01/05/2018 | KA9P Managed 6 QSOs this year with a finally finished Ranger 2 restoration that started in 2002, and a favorite RAF Type 51 straight key of the type used on Vulcan bombers. Enjoyed all the QSOs but especially one with Rick, WA5DBU as we both had vintage transmitters and homebrew receivers, and with Bob, W0YBS, as we swapped big old boatanchor stories.
