07/29/2002 | S51JM This was my first IARU-HF contest. I worked with FT-840 and ECO Multiband Vertical Antenna. I've made 300 QSO's from all over the world. On my location, conditions were frightened. I had several thunderstorms, one with hail, so I had to disconnect power a few times and had "rescue operation" with my car during hail storm. But as I alvays say: HAM is fun! -- S51JM
