What fun on SKN. The best ragchew was with Mike KF6PVY and a tip of the hat to Gene W7LFC who said I was his first CW contact in 30 years. There was no rust on his key. And thanks to the others who made it a great SKN.

I was originally licensed was KN7YXO in 1963, but have been inactive for 20+ years. In 2006 I got relicensed and was on the air for SKN. I only had time for a couple of QSO's, but it was just like being a novice again! Read More

This was my first SKN as a member of the Straight Key Century Club. Lack of sunspots didn't help me much out here in Hawaii though I managed 5 good rag chews. What a thrill it was to work K6KPH at old KPH site. RD's fist at the controls of K6KPH won my... Read More

This was my first ever SKN. What a blast! I activated KI4SLY, the Straight Key Century Clubs call, from my home in Glendale, AZ. Here is the short and long of my contacts; the shortest distance was less than a mile to Eric WB6TIX in Peoria, AZ and t... Read More

Family activities and celebration time permitted only 2 SKN QSOs (N8AG and AG9G) but it was nice to push the Vibroplex lightning bug out of the way and exercise the J-38. The 80 meter band occupancy seemed to fall off rapidly after midnight CST, but p... Read More
