ARLX040 Hurricane Felix update
 
As of 11:00 AM EDT, Hurricane Felix is 140 miles SSE of Hamilton,
Bermuda, and is moving NNW at 15 mph.  Maximum sustained winds are
85 mph.  The storm is moving directly towards Bermuda, where the
storm center is expected at 9:00 pm EDT tonight.  Felix is a
Category 1 hurricane.
 
Tony Siese, VP9HK, IARU Liaison for the Radio Society of Bermuda
(RSB), has requested that amateurs avoid transmitting on the
frequency 14.275 MHz, where the Bermuda Net is convening emergency,
hurricane-related operations.
