Description:

The Mahoning Valley Amateur Radio Association is a dynamic group of Ham Radio enthusiasts.  We support the high profile 146.745 Repeater, publish the award winning Voice Coil newsletter, consistently score in the top ten percent of entries in our category on Field Day , bring amateur radio into area schools and universities, and provide an array of services to the community.   Founded in 1919, the MVARA  is one of the oldest Amateur Radio organizations in the World.  We are an ARRL affiliated club and an ARRL Special Services Club.
