The Mt. Shasta Amateur Radio Club is the little club that could.  At a time when ham radio interest was diminished, the club began to get involved in the community by way of public service events.  What started with simple health/welfare support of the annual 4th of July race/walk has blossomed into 7 confirmed (and several requests under consideration) annual public service events.

The club is active and vital, sporting a full service HF station at the club house, a 2m FM repeater (with autopatch and emergency power), and a digital (system Fusion) capable 70cm repeater that features Wires-X capability. 

No matter who you are, there is something for you in this club.  Swing by and visit for a meeting or grab the mic at one of the monthly operating events and enjoy some fun, some contacts, and swap a few lies.
