Please Note: New Novice and Advanced licenses will not be issued after April 15, 2000, but existing Novice and Advanced class licenses are unchanged. Amateurs can continue to renew these licenses. The 60 meter channels were effective for amateur use July 3, 2003. See the FAQ for proper use of these frequencies.

Information about the US Amateur Bands is available in text form and as the one-page chart shown here in low-resolution form. You are welcome to download and print out the chart for your personal use.

We recommend using the black and white version if you do not have a color printer. You will need a copy of Adobe Adobe Reader, which you can get from Adobe for free. (Besides, you'll probably run across other PDF documents on this site and elsewhere on the Web.)
