Description:

The Catalina Radio Club (CRC) is an amateur radio club for the employees and retirees of Raytheon, Hughes, General Dynamics, and local Raytheon contract employees. CRC participates in many community events, such as walkathons, bicycle races, and is a significant communications contributor for El Tour de Tucson. CRC supports the Raytheon security and facilities organizations with the Emergency Communications Team, providing backup radio communications. There is a fully equipped ham radio station (club callsign W7SA) located at the Raytheon Airport site, just southeast of Building 811, available to club members. The station includes two HF operating positions and a VHF packet station, in addition to FM voice repeaters in the 144, 220, and 450 MHz bands. The Catalina Radio Club is an Affiliated and Special Services Club of the American Radio Relay League.
