This is the Hancock County Amatuer Radio Association for Hancock County. Kentucky. We have a local net on the KY4HC Repater (146.715- PL and Sql 136.5). The Net is called on Tuesday nights at 8PM CST.
The net is open to all licensed amatuers for the purpose of promoting radiocraft in the event of an emergency.
Our Club meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month at 11:00AM CST at the Hawesville Branch of the Hancock County Library. Our meetings are open to everyone interested in amatuer radio, licensed or not. We promote the practice of radiocraft and training for amatuer licensing. We also have a monthly activity that focuses on learning or building radio technologies. Anyone with an interest is welcome to stop by for additional information.
