Description:

The Manhattan, Kansas Amateur Radio Society (MAARS) was formed on July 7, 1976. The purpose of the club is to advance amateur radio in the Manhattan area. Since the beginning, the club has been active in different aspects of amateur radio, digital/packet radio, ARRL Field Day, and amateur radio classes.

Another major focus with the club is emergency communications; supporting WARN, CERT and other local community groups.

We love to welcome folks to the ham radio community, and connect individuals with similar interests. Come to a meeting, or hop on our net and join the fun!
