“The Okaw Valley Amateur Radio Club, Inc. is organized and operated for educational, civic, scientific and research purposes in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law and referred to as the “Code”). More specifically, the corporation is organized to provide educational resources by furthering the art of radio communications and electronics by mentoring anyone with like interest, to provide civic resources by participating in community events and providing preparedness in assisting governmental entities and others in the event of a disaster where other communication modes may fail, and providing research and scientific development through the ongoing exchange of technological advances and communication developments between its members and the greater radio communications community.”
