The Association shall strive to further the art of licensed Amateur Radio communications through the use of frequency modulation techniques. It is a non-commercial, not-for-profit organization chartered under the laws of the State of Michigan. It shall assemble and distribute educational and technical information and provide a useful communications facility for use in any civil emergency.  The association shall endeavor to install, maintain, and operate repeater stations for the purpose of providing reliable communications between licensed amateur FM stations in the Monroe County, Michigan area. It shall attempt to develop friendships through the sharing and development of a common goal.
