Description:

K0LTC – Maple Grove Radio Club

The K0LTC organization has been around since the days of Civil Defense. The club has always been a service oriented club providing assistance to public safety, hospitals, parades, bike tours, and antique car runs to mention a few.

The club started meeting in the Robbinsdale Fire Hall on Hubbard Avenue in Robbinsdale and 41st and 1/2 street. We later moved to the new Public Safety Center at Hubbard and 41st.

In an effort to attract a larger member base, we decided to move to where the growth potential was. The move to Maple Grove has had a profound effect on the club. Our membership has more than tripled!

K0LTC.org sponsors Midwinter Madness, a radio and electronics hamfest. This event is held in March each year at the Buffalo, MN Civic Center.

Meetings

The Maple Grove Radio Club is open to all licensed amateur radio operators. The club is a service oriented club providing assistance to public safety, hospitals, parades, bike tours, and antique car runs to mention a few. We also provide training opportunities for hams to increase their knowledge within the hobby.

Maple Grove Radio Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month on Zoom. Meeting time is 7 – 9 pm.
