Smoky Mountain ARC (SMARC) formed in 1947 after WW2.
SMARC participates in annual ARRL Field Day and operates W4OLB (club call) VHF repeater (146.655 MHz) and has regular monthly meetings (in person or via Zoom). Repeater is also linked via DMR, just program 314742.
SMARC has two parking lot tailgate hamfests with food each year, with one in spring and one in fall. We also have an annual Christmas Party in December, and hold regular hidden transmitter hunts. SMARC holds a Technician Class on demand and testing quarterly. We also work with local Boy Scout Troop as requested.
Detailed info on SMARC can be found via our web site and Facebook. Need help? Contact us and our team of volunteer Elmer's s will be their for you.
