South County ARES provides the southern San Mateo county (California) cities from Burlingame to Menlo Park with trained amateur radio operators who can provide assistance to servied agencies in times of emergencies. Monthly meetings provide training and weekly nets keep the membership informed on the latest information. South County ARES provides trained operators throughout the year at non-profit events for health and safety communications which provide additional training opportunities.
