While there are many approaches to fulfilling your charitable wishes, a will or bequest is the simplest form of gift planning.

If you are considering a bequest to ARRL through your will, please consult your attorney to customize language. Here is some language that may help you and your attorney prepare your bequest by including such words as:  

“…to The American Radio Relay League, Inc, a non-profit corporation headquartered in Newington Connecticut (Federal ID # 06-6000004) I give….  

Or  

“ I give, devise or bequeath the rest, residue or remainder of my estate, whether real or personal as follows: (state portion) to the American Radio Relay League, Inc. headquartered in Newington Connecticut for it’s general purposes (or ARRL fund or area of interest).  

Or  

“ I give to The American Radio Relay League, Inc. headquartered in Newington Connecticut the sum of $ _____ dollars to be used for its general purposes (or ARRL fund or area of interest).  

Please note that the American Radio Relay League, Inc. is an IRS-designated 501(c)(3) organization holding tax identification number 06-6000004. I copy of the IRS letter can be mailed upon request.
