LoTW and WAS award question

I realize that WAS isn't as complicated or controversial as DXCC, but issues do still come up. If not its own forum, how about an "all other awards" forum? I came looking for a WAS forum because I wonder about the "Digital" WAS category as presented in LOTW. In my LOTW account display, I see "Digital" and "Digital-JT65" as separate categories. Is "Digital-JT65" a real award category, or just an artifact of the way LOTW presents things? |

Good question! Turns out, way back when this part of the WAS table was programmed, the programmer chose to use Digital -- JT65, rather than just JT65. So, it is a real award category, but the "Digital" in front isn't relevant. A WAS award for JT65 will not have "Digital" printed before JT65. |
