For those that like QRP contesting, there's another fox hunt tonight. Fox hunting is an event where two people are designated as foxes and everybody tries to work them. With QRP, it's not as easy as it sounds, as you are cracking a pileup of other QRPers. Tune around, find the foxes, follow their "call up" or "call down" instructions and see if you can bag them both.

If you are not (yet?) a QRPer, here's a chance to have some contest fun anyway. Crank your rig's power control down to 5 watts or so and give it a go. It's amazing what 5 watts can do at times! In fact, to some QRPers, 5 watts is a lot of power!

Theres going to be a Foxhunt tonight... and it's going to be a lot of fun. With my partner, Tom, W0EA, in Iowa, we will be running in the 20 Acre woods, having a party. A Pelt (qso) party... and you're invited. Come see if you can exhibit your skills and grab a pelt too. We promise to stay within, 20k(m) of thatwell known signpost, 14.060. We have K2s and know how to use them. So gather round all you Hounds, at 0100z (7pm MT) and let's have a Party Don't be late... it only lasts 90 minutes. After that, the Foxii are gone. Ya'll come, Ya hear?
