I am trying to find someone in the Harrisburg, PA area that sells ham equipment mainly because I like to look and touch a product before I buy it especially since I'm still new. I have a lot of experience with CB tech but not the amateur side of things. Trying to scope it out before I go for my General Class License test on Oct 17.

Thanks for the help,
Dan Bailey

There is none in Pa for radios.
Supporting equipment and parts, yes.
You have to go the HRO in Delaware for hands on radios.
Good luck.

Couple of suggestions: Meet your local hams through a radio club, make friends, ask for advice and/or tours of their shacks. Some clubs have club stations you could check out. Maybe somebody will have a current radio that you'd be interested in. Schedule a trip to CT, and check out the fine late model equipment for visitors at W1AW!
