I had an appointment with my acupuncturist the other day. He asked me what I do to relieve stress. I mentioned, among my many other interests: HAM radio. He asked a lot of questions. It surprised him that in this age of "high" technology, HAM radio still not only exists, it thrives. I taught him that without radio, we wouldn't have our current cell phone technology. He is now quite interested learning more. I feel we may soon have a new HAM. |
