I built a inverted v antenna for 40/80 meters. The swr on the 40 meter band was great, 1.2 across the band.Adding the 80 meter coils causes the 40 meter section to go way out of the ball park. The 80 meter section swr goes to infinity & cannot tune it out. Any suggestions to fix it. Thank you. KC6BIU

Typically, you add traps rather than coils to prevent the 80 meter coils from also loading down the antenna when you want to use it on 40 meters.
