Hello all,This is KG5HOE.I live on a 50ft Chris Craft Constellation,I have a Kenwood 930s and looking to match it up to an antenna.I have been told that the Tarheel 300a is perfect for me.But I need more info on running a artificial ground.Heard about the KISS,I have a 12v ground about 10ft from where I want to mount an antenna.Do I groung the ant to the 12v ground ?It goes to all the bonding areas as well as all 12v ground areas etc.Like the engine blocks.Would this be good or do I need the KISS osr somrthing else? The boat is all fiberglass.Thank You

Here is an excellent publication on grounds in boats. Starts on page 64.
For land base stations Rudy N6LF has done studies and measurements to optimize radial systems, but they didn't know that back then.
