Using fldigi psk31, Power out is 25 watts. I am not receiving answer to my cq calls. I can receive qso between other hams., but not mine.Frequency is 14.070.000 20 meters. Rig is icom718 with hexbeam antenna. Thank you KC6BIU

I get an answer to a cq maybe 1 in 10. I think that's just the way it is in 6 land. I can see midwest stations chattering away with each other.
When I DO get an answer my signal reports are good. I often work into the midwest putting 30 watts out of my atas-120 antenna on my honda]s bumper.
Listen to NPR and be patient.
PS: Be sure your ALC is just peeking out @ the minimum when you xmit. Nobody answers a dirty signal.
