When transmitting on my Alinco transceiver on 2meters, the frequency changes from the repeater frequency to some other frequency. The call frequency is 147.240 mhz. The new frequency, when I transmit, changes to146.240 mhz. Thank you. LeRoy Ruland kc6biu

Typically 2M FM transceivers allow an offset to work with repeaters. Normally, the offset is 600 kHz on 2M, but some repeaters do use "oddball splits." Some radios have the typical repeater pairs programmed in but oddball splits need to be programmed by the user.
