I see ads for alpha delta antenna that covers 160m to 10m. Can someone please tell me what is different about the alpha-delta antenna from the usual dipole, or end-fed long wire and how it works? even a link or a reading reference would be appreciated. Thanks

They add loading coils which makes their antennas smaller, but this narrows the SWR bandwidth. It may also increase loss, though that is harder to measure than the change in SWR.
