HI! How do I put Alinco DR-150 i narrow FM mode (half deviation)? |

I was able to download the manual from Alinco's web site http://www.alinco.com/pdf.files/ I didn't see anything for half deviation--the manual had a copyright date of 1996, which is a little early to see this feature. Zack Lau W1VT ARRL Senior Lab Engineer |

In the Q&A on the alinco web, they are saying that this is possible, but not how. |

Perhaps you saw this Google search result, which is misleading Alinco Electronics DR610/DR150 (metal 8 pin): .... The deviation can be set to a narrow FM mode required for the new CAP services, but there are more detailed requirements on ... www.alinco.com/faq.html The "...." means there is a lot of text between the first part of the quote and the part you are interested in--the narrow deviation feature applies to the DR-135, not the DR-150.
