I AM BEGINNING TO RESTORE THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF HISTORY.

THE CHASSIS IS BADLY PITTED. ANY IDEAS AS TO HOW TO CLEAN IT UP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

THANKS, LARRY G, KB1QQM

Larry,

What model Atwater-Kent are you restoring? What is the Chassis made of?

Unless there is just light surface rust, the only way to properly restore the chassis is to remove all parts from it first.
