Under READ TARGET DEVICE MEMORIES Pages 3-4,3-5, I get 1024 3FF 3FFF and not 1024 3FF 342C RETLW 0x2c

Any suggestions?

Thank you

That indicates that the programmer has dumped the OSCCAL value of the device. Can you tell me what programmer you are using, there was a problem with the early CanaKit programmers and those programmers needed to be sent back for replacement. There is a way to recover the OSCCAL value using the PICKit2 program (this program is downloadable off the MicrChip web page). Once you have that program you can reset the OSCCAL value if you know what it was (recorded the values before you did any programming of the device as an insurance policy) or you can let the program recover the OSCCAL value (which will be pretty close). In any event, if you have a bad programmer, it will probably continue to dump the OSCCAL value.

I suggest youou contact Jackie at HQ (Ferreira, Jacqueline, KB1PWB) 860-594-0200 and mention your issue with her. She is familiar with the programming issue and should take care of you.
