I would like to use separate antennas for transmit and receive. Most transceivers have a single antenna connector. A high speed external relay would be required. Does anyone have experience with this? Recommend a relay and source? Relay control circuit?

There does not appear to be anything in QST archives.

A modern control circuit would account for varying delays in the transmitter circuit--there is often a delay with the first character.

A vacuum relay is pricey, but the method of choice when running high power.
