GAP Challenger DX antenna

Hello the wire am looking for a multi band antenna that can be used on a hill side (not to steep) sort of camouflaged so it does not stand out. It is to be used with a Yaesu FT-897D. I have been looking at the GAP Challenger DX. Does anyone have any experiance with it? What about using an antenna tuner with it? The instructions on their web site says a tuner is not recomended??? Sorry I am kind of new to this and even though I past the test I still have a lot to learn. Any info will be appreciated. |
