What are nodes and how can I set up my yeasu ft2900 to use this Feature ,the manual is kind of confusing to me...I have had a lic. For two weeks now and have just listening to the radio do not want to start off on the wrong foot,,I am going to Prudoe bay Alaska in two months and I see there are nodes to access repeaters in the Yukon Thanks Bill |

I too am relativily new HAM. I would love to be able to answer your questions about nodes, but I don't have any experience with them except thru ECOLINK. Check your owners manual for info regarding nodes. If you have a computer connection, you may have to use a laptop to get it to work. I am sorry that I was not more helpfull.
