| RFI - Smoke Detectors | KJ6VAU | on 28/8/12 |
| I have a smoke detector operating on 120v.a.c. that is positioned on a ceiling approximately 4' below a G5RV antenna on a transmitter operating at 100 watts. The smoke detector has given me a false alarm twice in a period of 3 hours at a time when i was on the air. Is is possible that i have RFI affecting the smoke detector? Thanks, KJ6VAU Bob Collier |
