| pat,,i run an antron 99 50 feet in a tree,,ith no type radials or even an earth ground for lightning...it wortks great on 10,,12,,15 and 17 meters...it actually tuned 20m one time but I didn't know I was on that antenna..but I did work south Africa on it on 20m...ssb or cw parts of the bands it works great...THE BIG BUT is a lot of hams cringe when they know it was for CB use..but to each their own,,if it works ,,it works..just my take on the antron 99 | ||
