Mark-
tnx for your helpful reply. My school is turning out to be one of the difficult ones, I'm afraid. Until I get past their concerns (insurance, legal, safety, etc.), I plan to run some temp coax from my classroom to the hamstick on my car.

Where can I find a list of all HS radio clubs in the US? I want to ask some of them how they attached their HF antennas to their school buildings.

Thanks!

Antenna Installation for school club K9OF on 7/8/12
I am a league member and an experienced ham, starting up a ham club at my school and trying to get a 14AVQ vertical installed on my school's roof. I am not allowed to install it; the school has engaged a general contractor to do the job, but he's asking me how to do it. I want to ensure he follows the National Electrical Code. The school doesn't have the money to but a copy of the code and I can't find a searchable copy online. Might the ARRL have just the antenna portion of the NEC available for me to use? Has anyone else solved this problem?

Thanks!

I teach HS math at a private school for children who have learning disabilities. Last year, I sponsored a Technology Club which featured radio prominently. For the 2012-13 school, I will be able to add an HF/VHF/UHF station within my classroom. I am in the process of applying for a club license and am looking for a sample or actual club charter or bylaws that I can adapt for my school's club. Any help appreciated!

tnx & 73,
