| Sloped Roof Mount Tripod | KD8WU | on 26/2/13 |
| I would like to put a 2m/440 antenna on the roof of our house. Chimney mount or a roof-peak tripod are not really an option. I stumbled across this tripod by Skywalker, and was wondering if anyone here has used this? http://www.skywalker.com/products/skywalker-signature-series-heavy-duty-5ft-tri-pod-slope-roof-mount__sky32809.aspx (I can't seem to preview this before I actually submit this, so I hope the link works) I won't be using lag bolts, but rather drilling through and using 1x4's or 2x4's (the longer the better) and big fender washers on the under side of the roof. Thanks, Bob |
