QUESTION TO ARRL STAFF KI6NB on 29/3/12
My license expiews this year, and I was wondering if the ARRL still sends an e-mail out before the expiration date, and does the actual renewal process for me upon my request/approval?

Thanks & 73,

MFJ 259B HF/VHF analyzer problem KI6NB on 22/12/11
Thank you Zack. I'm now getting proper electrical lengths with only a 2" maximum discrepancy over a wide range of frequencies. That's close enough for me. Thanks again & 73.

Using the "DISTANCE TO FAULT" mode consistantly gives wrong readings, ie, the electrical length reads less than the measured length. Its like the velocity factor in reverse. Does anybody have any insights/experience with this problem?

I'm assuming that if this mode can't be trusted, then none of the others can be trusted either. I'm considering throwing it in the trash absent any solution/explanation.

I figured it out. The pages are out of sequence, and the columns on some pages shouldn't be side-by-side, ie, they should be paired with another column on another page such that I'm going to cut the page in half (vertically), and pair it up with the appropriate other half-page.
