| IRLP NODE CODES | KD6YUP | on 10/11/11 |
| I want to receive CW from W1AW for training purposes. I am a newbie with IRLP and do not want to foul the system at W1AW with an error on my part. I have the NODE CODE to log in at a local NODE. But I would like to have the process told to me for logging into the code practice sessions. How do I log in at W1AW and equally important, how do I log off. The IRLP guide material said that the NODE CODES are specific to each NODE. I saw one NODE CODE for termination of a contact as being 73. This sounds like a logical code but is it what W1AW uses. Is it proper to use W1AW for training purposes on IRLP or does it occupy too much time on such a contact? Thank you Jim Gayner KD6YUP |
