AMSAT-NA Board of Directors Nominating Petitions Due by June 15
Nominations are invited for open seats on the AMSAT-NA Board of Directors. Three terms will expire this year, and a fourth director will be elected for 1 year to complete an unexpired term. Up to two alternates may be elected for 1-year terms.
A nomination requires either one Member Society or five current individual members in good standing to nominate an AMSAT-NA member for Director.
Hard copy nominations consisting of names, call signs, and individual signatures are preferred, but nominations may be submitted via mail or e-mail, FAX (301) 822-4371), or electronic image.
Mail hard copy nominations to AMSAT-NA, 10605 Concord St, #304, Kensington, MD 20895. Petitions must arrive no later than June 15 at the AMSAT-NA office. For electronically submitted petitions to be valid, a verifying traditional written petition must be received at the AMSAT-NA office within 7 days of the close of nominations on June 15. — AMSAT News Service
