Myanmar Station on the Air!

The Daily DX reports that Zorro Miyazawa, JH1AJT, is currently on the air as XZ1Z from Naypyidaw, Myanmar (formerly known as Burma), while on a humanitarian mission. He received Amateur Radio operating permission on August 13 from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and he expects to be on the air in his very limited spare time until August 17. His operating permission is valid until September 12.

He is equipped with a Kenwood TS-590 and two ground plane antennas for 20 and 17 meters and has been active on SSB on both bands (spotted on 14.250, 18.125 and 18.145 MHz).
