Streaming Audio Available for May 1 ARISS School Contact

Streaming audio will be available for a scheduled Amateur Radio on the International Space Station (ARISS) school contact, May 1 at 1628 UTC, with students at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake, Minnesota. The event will last up to 10 minutes.

The direct contact between NA1SS and NR0T at the school will be audible over portions of the Midwest and Southern US on the 145.80 MHz downlink.

Streaming audio from this contact will be available on the ARISS Audio website. Audio also will available via the EchoLink *AMSAT* (101377) conference server. The audio feed is expected to begin at approximately 1545 UTC with a pre-contact program.

EchoLink inserts automatic breaks of 1.5 seconds in the audio transmission. These occur every 2.5 minutes. Contact times are approximate. — Thanks to ARISS
