WRTC 1 x 1 Competitor Call Signs Worth 5 Points for Centennial QSO Party

06/30/2014

Contacts with World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC-2014) competitor teams with 1 × 1 call signs will be worth 5 points in the ARRL Centennial QSO Party.

WRTC-2014 takes place July 12-13, concurrent with the IARU HF Championship. Contacts may be made with the teams on SSB and CW on 80, 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters. WRTC-2014 will take place in New England, and teams will be using 1×1 call signs from US first district.

Sixteen of the available 75 call signs will not be used, including the longest and shortest CW suffixes ("J", "Q", "Y", "E") as well as "H," which is frequently miscopied on CW. The "X" suffix is not available for 2 x 1 call signs.

Points will be added to your Centennial QSO accumulated score automatically, provided you upload your logs to Logbook of The World (LoTW).
