Yasme Foundation Announces Supporting Grants

To further the development of Amateur Radio around the world, The Yasme Foundation has announced the recipients of four supporting grants: (1) WRTC-2014, to help defray the expenses of the World Radio Team Championship this July in New England. (2) The Reverse Beacon Network (RBN), to purchase a receiver and necessary accessories to upgrade the RBN node in Bangalore, India (3) CWOps CW Academy, to help defray the expenses of providing online CW training courses. (4) The ARRL Second Century Fund, to support the goal of the ARRL Second Century Campaign of opening a path to passionate involvement in Amateur Radio by new generations, providing opportunities for educational enrichment, community service, and personal achievement through the exploration and use of radio communication.

The Yasme Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation organized to conduct scientific and educational projects related to Amateur Radio, including DXing and the introduction and promotion of Amateur Radio in developing countries. The Foundation supports individuals and organizations providing or creating useful services for the Amateur Radio community, regardless of originality or novelty, to further the development of Amateur Radio around the world.
