Hello, Wyoming Hams,
Wyoming Hams, What a wonderful convention in Estes Park. There were some great speakers, and events. The Wyoming hamfest was also filled with good forums and a good time of fellowship was had at the banquet.
Congratulations to Wilson Slellner WB7RRZ for being voted the Ham of the year 2008. Begin thinking about the next nominee's for next year.
Planning has begun in earnest for the 2010 Rocky Mountain Division convention to be held in Casper on Memorial Day weekend. The event will include ICom, HRO, W1AW, Yaesu, and an Olympics competition. There will be many great forums and other activities, not to mention the first time for W1AW/wy7operation in Wyoming.
Enough stumping for that event. The web address for the convention is www.rockymountainhamcon.org Check it out and watch as it is updated. The www.wyomingsection.org site is also live and will begin to take shape in the coming weeks check them out and submit any suggestions.
Calling all hams calling all hams. If you would like to help with the convention we are needing volunteers in all areas. Great news. Thanks to the great work of the VE's and clubs in Wyoming there has been 50 hams added to the rolls of the greates hobby going today, Congratulations. Have a great June and remember
