ARLB059 Division vice dir appointed
 
John Thernes, WM4T, of Covington, Kentucky, has been appointed vice
director of the Great Lakes Division for the unexpired remainder of
the term of that office.  John will serve until January 1, 1996.
John, age 46, is a former section manager of Kentucky.
 
The vacancy in the office of vice director occurred when former Vice
Director George Race, WB8BGY, become the new division director
following the resignation, for health reasons, of Al Severson, AB8P.
Details of Al's resignation were carried in an earlier W1AW
bulletin.
