This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
NC1L, The Weekly DX, the OPDX Bulletin, DXNL, 425 DX News, The Daily

web sites.  Thanks to all.

TUNISIA, 3V.  Members of the Provins ARC are QRV as TS7C from
Chergui Island, IOTA AF-073, until January 19.  QSL via F4EGD.

UGANDA, 5X.   Peter is QRV as 5X4X until June while working as
development aid worker in Arua.  Activity is on 40 to 10 meters
generally before 2000z.  QSL via DF5GQ.

MALDIVES, 8Q.  Andy, G7COD will be QRV as 8Q7AK from Embudu Island,
IOTA AS-013, from January 11 to 27.  Activity will be on 40 to 12
meters using CW and SSB.  QSL to home call.

CROATIA, 9A.  During the Men's World Handball Championship, special
event stations 9A2009OS, 9A2009PO, 9A2009PU, 9A2009ST, 9A2009VZ,
9A2009ZD and 9A2009ZG are active until February 1.  QSL via bureau.

TONGA, A3.  Bob, ZL1RS is QRV as A35RS from Tongatapu Island, IOTA
OC-049, until January 15.  Of late, he has been active on 2-meter
EME.  QSL to home call.

GAMBIA, C5.  Niels, OZ8KR is QRV as C56KR from Bakuto until January
14.  Activity is on 40 to 10 meters using SSB.  QSL to home call.

CHILE, CE.  A large group of Amateur Radio operators from Copiapo
will be QRV from January 11 to 25 with special event station
XR27RAID in commemoration of the 27th Raid Atacama desert trophy.
Activity will be on all HF bands using CW, SSB and various digital
modes.  QSL via CE6TBN.

LIBERIA, EL.  Ashley, EL2AR has been active on 15 meters around 1730
to 1815z.  He hopes to be active on 80 and 40 meters soon.  QSL via
EL2BA.

IRAN, EP.  Mohsen, EP3SMH has been active on 20 meters using RTTY
around 1330z and SSB around 0800z.

CROZET ISLANDS, FT/W.  Florentin is QRV as FT5WO currently from
Alfred Faure Station on Possession Island, IOTA AF-008, and has been
active on 20 meters generally around 1700z.  QSL via F4DYW.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, HI.  Simone, IZ5JNQ is QRV as HI7/IZ5JNQ until
February 5.  He also plans to be active as HI2/IZ5JNQ from the
coastal islands Saona and Catalina, both IOTA NA-122.  QSL direct to
EB7DX.

GUINEA-BISSAU, J5.  Peter is QRV as J5UAP and has been QRV on 17
meters using SSB from around 1000 to 1200z.  He has also been active
using RTTY.  QSL via HA3AUI.

ARUBA, P4.  Peter, EA5GVH will be QRV as P40PZ while on holiday from
January 12 to 28.  Activity will be on 80 to 6 meters using SSB and
various digital modes.  QSL to home call.

BRAZIL, PY.  Look for operators PY1/PY1ZV, PY1/PY2OC, PY1/PY1RY and
PY1/PY2HN to be QRV from Cabo Frio from January 12 to 17.  This
operation is devoted to the Transatlantic tests between Africa and
America.  Activity will be on 6 and 2 meters and 70 cm.  QSL via
operators' instructions.

BANABA ISLAND, T33.  Udo, DL9HCU is currently active as T33HC.  QSL
to home call.

VIET NAM, XV.  Mike, OM2DX is QRV as XV9DX and 3W1M while working
for the Slovak Republic Embassy.  He is here for three years.
Activity is on all bands using CW, SSB and various digital modes.
QSL via OM3JW.

MACAO, XX9.  Vincent, F4BKV is QRV as XX9TKV until January 12 from
from Coloane Island, IOTA AS-075.  QSL to home call.

VANUATU, YJ.  Ted, VK2EZQ is QRV as YJ0AZQ from Aneityum Island,
IOTA OC-035.  Activity is on 80 to 10 meters.  QSL to home call.

OPERATION APPROVED FOR DXCC CREDIT.  The following operation is
approved for DXCC credit:  Afghanistan, T61AA, the license for this
operation has been updated.  Anyone having this operation rejected
recently can send an email to dxcc@arrl.org to be placed on the list
for an update.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO.  The North American CW QSO Party, NCCC
Sprint, Hunting Lions in the Air Contest, PODXS 070 Club PSKFest, MI
QRP January CW Contest, Midwinter CW/Phone Contest, SKCC Weekend CW
Sprint, NRAU-Baltic CW/Phone Contest, Midwinter Contest and the DARC
